Legal experts initially thought it would be challenging to find an unbiased jury for the Parkland shooting case due to media attention. However, Robert Hirschhorn, a top jury expert, noted that the selected jury represents a fair cross-section of the community, and the judge has succeeded in upholding the standard of a jury trial. Although the jury is mostly balanced, Hirschhorn suggests that if even one juror sees Nikolas Cruz as a life not worth taking, he may receive a sentence of life without the possibility of parole.
